Macau.- Health authorities in Macau<\/strong> have announced an expansion of quarantine measures<\/strong> in light of new Covid-19 infections in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the new border measures, people returning to Macau from Hong Kong and overseas<\/strong> will be required to undergo an additional seven days of \u201cself-health management\u201d after finishing their 21-day mandatory hotel quarantine period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those returning from places considered high-risk areas in mainland China and Taiwan<\/strong> are required to add another 14 days of \u201cself-health management\u201d after completing their 14 days of hotel quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They indicated that people would be allowed to go to school or work in this period but should inform the school or employer of their contact or travel history and minimise contact with other people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n They should also measure their body temperature twice a day.
