{"id":13588,"date":"2021-01-20T21:51:54","date_gmt":"2021-01-20T21:51:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=13588"},"modified":"2026-04-23T22:33:03","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T01:33:03","slug":"fifth-macau-casino-to-grant-employee-bonuses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/fifth-macau-casino-to-grant-employee-bonuses","title":{"rendered":"Fifth Macau casino to grant employee bonuses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Galaxy Entertainment has become the latest casino operator in Macau casinos to grant a one-off bonus to employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Macau.- Five of the largest casinos operators in Macau have now committed to <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casinos-grant-employee-bonuses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grant annual bonuses<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to at least part of their staff for 2020 performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, <strong>Wynn Macau, Melco<\/strong> and <strong>MGM China<\/strong> confirmed they would give non-management employees the equivalent of a month\u2019s salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wynn Macau will grant bonuses to 98.5 per cent of its staff at both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. The other two operators said they would grant bonuses to selected non-management employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/sjm-to-maintain-bonus-for-employees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SJM Holdings also<\/a><\/em><\/strong> announced that it would continue to provide its annual living subsidy for employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now <strong>Galaxy Entertainment Group <\/strong>has grante a one-off payment equivalent to a month&#8217;s salary for eligible team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said it would grant the payment to around<strong> 98 per cent of staff<\/strong> at its Macau casinos on February 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GEG Vice Chairman Francis Lui said: \u201cOur expansion from 2021 and beyond will create tremendous opportunities to team members.
