The police have found one of three suspects that allegedly stole over $13.2m in cash from a casino in Jeju, South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Korea.- Police say that have apprehended one of three suspects who allegedly stole KRW14.56bn ($13.2m) in cash from a casino<\/a><\/em><\/strong> on Jeju island..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been reported that a woman who worked at Landing Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World was the main suspect in the theft, which was reported on January 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, police had said they believed she could have not acted alone given the weight of the cash that had allegedly been taken from the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of her alleged co-conspirators has been apprehended on Jeju Island, according to Yonhap News Agency,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeju’s provincial police agency said that a man in his 30s, a 55-year-old Malaysian woman of Chinese descent and a Chinese national had been put on its wanted list after the theft<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police believe the two other suspects in the case have already left the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect arrested was the employee of an agent that attracts and manages casino customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police found some of the missing cash last week at a safe in one of the Jeju casino\u2019s VIP rooms and at an apartment. The investigation into the whereabouts of the remaining cash is still underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
