Wynn Macau, Melco and MGM China will offer non-management employees the equivalent of a month\u2019s salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Macau.- After a tough year for the gaming industry, at least three of the larger casinos in Macau<\/strong> have announced bonuses for employees <\/strong>to recognise their efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wynn Macau will issue a bonus of one month\u2019s gross salary <\/strong>to 98.5 per cent of its teams at both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The bonuses will comprise 70 per cent in cash and 30 per cent on employees’ Macau Pass consumption cards, part of Wynn\u2019s scheme to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company said: \u201cThe combined payment will enable Wynn team members to continue supporting the many small and essential local businesses in our community that have been experiencing difficulties over the past 12 months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, MGM China<\/strong> has said it will pay the equivalent to one month\u2019s salary to all eligible non-management employees<\/strong>. The amount will be paid in cash, in two instalments in January and February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Melco<\/strong> will also pay selected non-management employees<\/strong> annual bonuses equal to one month’s salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CEO Lawrence Ho said in a statement: \u201cThe year 2020 has certainly been challenging, affecting businesses and communities all around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “We appreciate our colleagues\u2019 every contribution during this difficult time as we continue to stand as one to weather the challenges in the new year with optimism and courage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
