Aquis Entertainment\u2019s casino will restrict the capacity to one customer per four square metres of usable indoor space, which means a maximum of 505 customers in the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The casino will maintain its other Covid-19 safety protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Casino Canberra reopened<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to the public in August and announced that revenues had reached pre-Covid-19 levels<\/a><\/em><\/strong> by October despite the restrictions in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The casino confirmed in a company filing that it was no longer eligible for JobKeeper subsides as it had been in phase II of the government scheme, which ran from 28 September 2020 to 3 January 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On January 12, the Australian Capital Territory had registered a total 118 cases of Covid-19 and no active cases. The region has only recorded three deaths related to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ACT chief health officer Dr Kerryn Coleman has announced changes to travel restrictions from Covid-19 affected areas of New South Wales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Central Coast and Wollongong have been removed from the list of affected areas as well as some areas of Greater Sydney.
