China.- Plans have been revealed for a US$900m tower and esports centre in the Minhang District in the south of Shanghai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Shanghai International New Cultural and Creative Esports Center will cover 500,000 square metres and will boast a 6,000-capacity arena. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to media reports, the venue is expected to host at least 300 esports matches every year. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The site will also include a five-star video game-themed hotel, a breakdancing facility, an indoor skydiving venue and an esports museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will also become the corporate headquarters for Edward Gaming (EDG), a subsidiary of SuperGen that is developing the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
