The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has announced its deputy director, Leong Man Ion, has taken unpaid leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Macau.- The deputy director of the gaming regulator authority, Leong Man Ion, has stepped down from his position and has taken unpaid leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) published the information in an dispatch to the government\u2019s Official Gazette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The notice was part of an announcement saying Mr Leong had been granted long-term unpaid leave, from 25 March 2021 to 20 October, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It gave no explanation for Mr Leong\u2019s unpaid leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Official Gazette, Mr Leong will no longer work as the DICJ\u2019s deputy director, and will return to his previous position at the regulator as a senior technical advisor, starting from 7 January 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Leong \u2013 who was trained as an accountant and auditor \u2013 was first appointed deputy director of the gaming regulator in January 2009. He joined the body in 1990.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
