Singapore.- The casino resort Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has announced it will host its first live event in nine months this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The complex will open its performance venue Sands Theatre, which has been closed since March, for two concerts. Attendance will be limited to 500 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operator said the concerts will take place amid strict social distancing measures, including designated zones with a maximum of 50 people in each. Seats will be located at least one meter apart. Attendees will also have to present a valid negative antigen rapid test (ART) in order to gain entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cBack to Live\u201d concerts will feature a lineup of local Singapore artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MBS senior vice president of resort operations, Paul Town, said: \u201cThis event is a great step towards the gradual return of live entertainment in Singapore, and we are privileged to have been the only venue chosen for an event of this nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
