Measured year-on-year,\u00a0revenue was down by 85.4\u00a0per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revenue was just\u00a0under\u00a0KRW9.75bn (US$8.9m) in November, down from KRW22.35bn in\u00a0October and KRW66.71bn in\u00a0November 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>November\u2019s\u00a0table game revenue was\u00a0down\u00a061.1 per cent sequentially, at nearly KRW7.95bn.\u00a0That&#8217;s a drop of 87.3\u00a0per cent year-on-year, from just above KRW62.77bn in\u00a0November\u00a02019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Machine game revenue for last month was down\u00a07.8\u00a0per cent month-on-month and 54.2 per cent year-on-year at nearly KRW1.80bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest monthly data took Paradise Co\u2019s accumulated casino revenue for the year up to\u00a0November\u00a030\u00a0to just\u00a0above\u00a0KRW293.03bn, down 59.0 per cent from 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accumulated table revenue for January to\u00a0November\u00a0inclusive was KRW269.55bn, down 59.9 per cent year-on-year, while aggregate machine game revenue was KRW23.49bn, a decline of 43.4\u00a0per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradise Co operates four casinos in South Korea: Walkerhill in Seoul; Jeju Grand on Jeju Island; Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan; and Paradise City in Incheon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the tightening of Covid-19 measures in South Korea, <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/south-korea-casino-gkl-busan-confirms-shutdown\" target=\"_blank\">some foreigner-only\u00a0casino operators such as Grand Korea Leisure Co Ltd\u00a0have temporarily closed\u00a0their venues<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The casino operator has published its financial report for November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":12356,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Paradise Co reported a significant decline in November revenue, down 56.4% MoM and 85.4% YoY, reaching KRW9.75bn, primarily driven by substantial drops in both table and machine game verticals.
