It was first <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hk-singapore-travel-bubble-delayed-two-weeks\" target=\"_blank\">delayed for two weeks<\/a><\/em><\/strong> until early December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, as that intended start date approaches, authorities have pushed it back to next year without setting a specific commencement date, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CAAS said the exact date will be revealed later in the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Hong Kong government spokesperson said that the decision was made \u201cin view of the severity of the epidemic situation in Hong Kong with the number of local cases of unknown sources increasing rapidly\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Special Administrative Region recently decided to reinstate several Covid-19 measures, incuding the closure of schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the travel bubble is in place, visitors will be able to take Covid-19 tests in lieu of quarantine or stay-home notices.
