The inauguration of the new areas of the resort has been delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>New Zealand.- Skycity Entertainment Group will close its Adelaide casino for a second time due to a new spike in the number of Covid-19 cases in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino and the entertainment areas in the venue will be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision comes after the South Australia Government said it would reinstate restrictions in light of a new cluster of Covid-19 cases. Stay at home measures will be enforced statewide until November 24. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operator has also delayed the inauguration of its US$330m (US$241.7m) expansion of Skycity Adelaide, which has been slated for late November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skycity\u2019s properties in Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown remain open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casinos in New Zealand also <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nz-extends-covid-19-measures\" target=\"_blank\">went into lockdown<\/a><\/em><\/strong> from early September to early October after a new cluster of Covid-19 cases were discovered in Auckland.
