{"id":11705,"date":"2020-11-11T21:53:27","date_gmt":"2020-11-11T21:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=11705"},"modified":"2026-04-24T00:10:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T03:10:27","slug":"singapore-hk-air-travel-bubble-to-begin-november-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/singapore-hk-air-travel-bubble-to-begin-november-22","title":{"rendered":"Singapore-HK air travel bubble to begin November 22"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There will be no restrictions on motives for travel and no quarantine period required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Asia.- Singapore and Hong Kong have finally agreed on a protocol to resume leisure travel without quarantine requirements from November 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors heading each way will have to provide a negative Covid-19 test result taken no longer than 72 hours before departure, and those arriving in HK will have to take another test at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If any travellers test positive for Covid-19, they will have to pay their medical expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible travellers must not have been outside of HK or Singapore within 14 days prior to departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be one flight per day with 200 seats, although this could be increased to two daily flights as of December 7 if the pandemic situation in either city does not worsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authorities have also agreed that if the weekly average of confirmed cases exceeds five per day on either side, the bubble will be suspended for two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore has already <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/singapore-eases-restrictions-for-china-and-australia\" target=\"_blank\">reopened its borders<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to low risk countries such as Australia, Brunei, mainland China, Vietnam and New Zealand.
