Japan.- Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has insisted on his commitment to green light Japan’s integrated resort project. During a speech in a session at\u00a0the lower house of the country\u2019s parliament, he said the resorts would boost inbound tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suga was reported saying: \u201cCasinos are there in 130 countries and regions. It is planned that Japan’s integrated resorts [IRs] are to have international exhibition facilities, convention facilities, and large hotels to entertain whole families.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Japan’s policy will allow for three complexes in an initial phase of market liberalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
