Macau.- Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes has said that the number of visitors entering the city has surpassed 20,000 a day on average. She said she expects the figure to continue growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last week it was revealed that hotel occupancy in Macau grew 40 per cent month-on-month in September before the Golden Week holiday in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fernandes confirmed that the 14-day mandatory quarantine<\/a><\/em><\/strong> for visitors from\u00a0Qingdao city in Shandong Province has been lifted and that the MGTO<\/em><\/strong> was still in negotiations with the mainland authorities to reinstate group tours<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to Macau.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Macau has passed 120 days with no local cases of Covid-19 being reported. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, only residents of mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan can enter the city.
