{"id":10868,"date":"2020-10-13T21:53:44","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T21:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=10868"},"modified":"2026-04-24T01:00:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T04:00:32","slug":"kangwon-land-reopens-with-cap-on-capacity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kangwon-land-reopens-with-cap-on-capacity","title":{"rendered":"Kangwon Land reopens with cap on capacity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In a second pandemic-related lockdown, the casino was closed from August 23.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>South\u00a0Korea.-\u00a0Kangwon Land, the only casino in which locals are allowed to gamble in South Korea, has partially reopened, emerging from a second lockdown related to the Covid-19\u00a0pandemic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reopening coincided with the\u00a0Ministry of Health and Welfare relaxing some of the restrictions in South Korea.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of this week,\u00a0up to 750 people may use the\u00a0mass gaming floor at once and\u00a0another 68 people can play in the VIP facilities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All guests must be seated and face\u00a0masks are mandatory for guests and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kangwon Land casino was first shut in February at the beginning of the pandemic.
