Gaming firm FBM has donated food and health supplies to Jeepney drivers in the Philippines amid the pandemic crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Philippines.- Global gaming firm FBM has announced the donation of 5,000 essential kits containing food and health supplies to struggling Jeepney drivers in Manila, Pasay, Paranaque and Quezon City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The donation was coordinated together with PAGCOR in a bid to assist one of the Philippines\u2019 most iconic cultural industries. Only a small percentage of Jeepney drivers are currently allowed to operate due to Covid-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 5,000 kits were prepared by PAGCOR members and distributed by a team of PAGCOR volunteers and FBM team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each bag contains food items and health materials, including face masks and a sanitizer, to assist families with some basic daily needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FBM founder Rui Francisco said in a statement: \u201cThe Jeepneys are one of the symbols of the Philippines\u2019 culture and economy. After understanding the dimension of this social problem, we decided to help the drivers’ families with a gesture that can have a real impact on the daily lives”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
