The casino near Cambodia&#8217;s border with Vietnam reopened on Friday (September 18).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casinos in Cambodia were shut in April due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They have been able to apply to reopen since July on passing a\u00a0Health Ministry inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ha Tien Vegas advised customers it would have \u201cstrong anti-Covid\u00a0measures in place\u201d including obligatory use of face masks, social distancing requirements, temperature checks and sanitizing measures.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said: \u201cSafety for our customers and staff is our top priority. We operate following the government\u2019s social distancing guidelines and all staff have been trained to keep you safe.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino promised to give away hundreds of vouchers at its reopening.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cambodians are not allowed to gamble, and Ha Tien Vegas\u2019 clientele usually comprises mainly Vietnamese players.
