World Poker Tour launches India edition
The American firm will enter the booming Indian market through a partnership with local online poker platform Adda52.
India.- The World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced a partnership with India’s leading online poker platform, Adda52, to create the first edition of its tournament in the country.
WPT Online India Powered by Adda52.com will take place from November 5 to 22.
The American firm said the edition will involve INR135 million (US$1.8 million) in guarantees and INR25 million (US$340,000) guaranteed for the WPT Online India Main Event, which will start on November 11.

Past editions of the WPT in Asia Pacific have included tournaments in Australia and Cambodia.
