InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a partnership with Sun Hospitality Group to develop two upcoming integrated resorts.

Vietnam.- InterContinental Hotels Group continues its expansion in Vietnam as the company has recently announced the sign of a multi-property agreement with Vietnam real estate developer Sun Hospitality Group.

Through this partnership, the company expects to develop a 616-room Holiday Inn Resort Yoko Park Onsen in Quang Ninh Province.

According to Asian Gaming Brief, it will also build three hotels in Danang, an 843-room Holiday Inn Resort Ba Na Hills and a 648 room voco Danang Ba Na Hills.

Through this agreement, IHG will become one of the most important hotel operators in Quang Ninh Province.

IHG has recently revealed the new Holiday Inn Resort Grand Ho Tram in Vietnam will open on January 15, 2022.

The 561-room facility owned by InterContinental Hotels Group was initially scheduled to launch in July 2021 but was delayed due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions.

Intercontinental Grand Ho Tram is located on the southern coast of Vietnam. The first phase of the new site cost approximately $600m and includes a casino exclusively for foreigners with more than 90 gaming tables.
