Victoria reopens electronic gaming areas
Gaming areas in pubs, clubs, and casinos will be able to operate again.
Australia.- Victoria’s premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed that with new easing of lockdown restrictions, hospitality venues such as pubs, clubs, and pokie venues will reopen. It will be the third state in Australia to allow the reopening.
He said electronic gaming areas at pubs, clubs, and casinos will be able to operate again, as long as they comply with strict distancing, cleaning and hygiene requirements.
A maximum of 50 customers will be allowed in enclosed spaces, or one every four square-meters, and only for seated service. Groups of up to 20 people will be allowed to dine and drink on the same table.
Contact tracing will be required for anyone spending more than 15 minutes at a venue.
