An unnamed Taiwanese gambler has reportedly been thanked for his contribution at Macau’s City of Dreams casino.

China.- As gaming revenue in Macau plummeted in recent months owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been reported that one single gambler was responsible for generating 3 per cent of revenue at Macau’s City of Dreams casino in May.

The unnamed Taiwanese man is reported to have won a large amount of money at Wynn Palace in April but returned to Macau in May and lost the majority of his winning at City of Dreams.

Gambling Insider has reported that City of Dreams has thanked the player for his contribution at a difficult time that saw Macau’s gross domestic product plunge by 48 per cent.
