Tabcorp adds new languages to Australian betting app
The TAB App is now available in traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese and Vietnamese.
Australia.- Tabcorp has announced that its TAB App is now available in traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese and Vietnamese alongside English. It says translations were certified through official translators and enriched by custom-built AI.
It wrote on LinkedIn: “Driven by colleagues who brought their cultural insight and language expertise to the table, this milestone shows the magic that can be achieved through collaboration and is a meaningful step toward making our platform more accessible,”
General manager of trading Dave Beirne said: “We’ve got a growing base of customers whose first language is not English and this upgrade will make placing a bet so much easier for them,” Beirne explained. A key part of our digital transformation has been to make using our products simpler and this is another step on that journey.
“We know wagering is popular throughout Asia and creating a multilingual proposition that breaks down language barriers certainly makes it more appealing for customers who have English as an additional language. Expanding the functionality to more languages is certainly something we will look at in time.”
