South Korea’s Inspire Entertainment Resort implements new ID verification for faster entry

The resort has deployed Regula’s identity verification technology.

South Korea.- Inspire Entertainment Resort, located near Incheon International Airport, has integrated the Regula Document Reader SDK at six entry stations at its casino. The system processes passports and identification documents from 254 countries and territories in real time, extracting and validating data such as name, date of birth, nationality and passport number.

The processed information is automatically transferred to the resort’s anti-money laundering platform, where it is screened against external compliance and watchlist databases. This automation is intended to reduce manual rescans, lower staff workload, and maintain consistent onboarding performance during peak traffic hours.

According to Inspire’s IT Director, Ilnam Lee, the technology has significantly increased document processing speeds and improved the overall guest entry experience.
