Resorts World Genting unveils Eufloria at signing of Visit Malaysia 2026 MoU

The casino operator will work with Tourism Malaysia to promote ecotourism and edutourism ahead of VM2026.

Malaysia.- Resorts World Genting (RWG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tourism Malaysia to support the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign. The agreement is intended to promote Malaysia’s profile as a nature-driven travel destination.

RWG will integrate VM2026 branding across its properties, participate in domestic promotional activities, and work closely with Tourism Malaysia on initiatives including familiarisation trips, curated experiences and influencer engagements. VM2026’s goal is to attract 35.6 million visitors and generate MYR147.1bn (US$35bn) in tourism receipts.

Eufloria, RWG’s newest eco-focused attraction, was unveiled in an preview during the signing event. Spanning 12.5 acres, it features a 3.7-acre greenhouse and four thematic glasshouses for up to 8,000 visitors. BUNGA 2026, a floral festival, is intended to highlight Malaysia’s biodiversity and creative artistry from the first half of next year.

Minister Tiong King Sing said the collaboration will help strengthen Malaysia’s tourism appeal, noting that world-class horticultural attractions provide compelling reasons for local travellers to holiday within the country. RWG executive vice president Spencer Lee described the MoU as a milestone in advancing sustainable tourism, adding that initiatives like Eufloria and BUNGA 2026 will “inspire accessible learning experiences for all” while showcasing Malaysia’s natural and cultural heritage.
