Nagasaki University could offer IR Management course
Management course would coincide with the region being awarded a licence to construct an IR.
Japan.- Nagasaki International University in Sasebo is thinking about launching an IR management course to help educate and train people interested in working at the casino resort should the region be granted a licence by the government.
The Nagasaki Prefectural Government reportedly asked the university last October to start thinking about how it might support the local IR bid and an IR management course is one of the ideas to have been put forward.
A study committee consisting of faculty members from the International Tourism Department delivered information and opinions from multiple interested businesses, and some members visited IRs and universities in Macau.
If the course get the green light the first intake of students will be in 2022.
