Melco Resorts Foundation donates equipment to police in Metro Manila
City of Dreams Manila’s charitable arm has contributed vehicles and operational resources to the National Capital Region Police Office.
The Philippines.- Melco Resorts (Philippines) Foundation Corporation (MRP Foundation), the charitable arm of City of Dreams Manila, has donated security equipment and vehicles valued at approximately PHP 9.9m (US$170.000) to the Philippine National Police – National Capital Region Police Office (PNP-NCRPO).
The ceremonial turnover saw representatives from MRP Foundation, including chairman and president Clarence Chung and vice president Armin Raquel Santos, hand over a range of assets, including a Foton Tornado truck with telescopic crane, two Toyota Hiace vans, mobile command outposts, generators, laptops, cameras, communications gear and other operational equipment.
The donation, which was carried out with the support of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), aims to bolster police operational capacity and mobility in and around Entertainment City and other NCRPO jurisdictions.
