Marina Bay Sands names Angelita Teo as vice president of attractions

The former Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage executive will oversee the strategic direction and growth of the integrated resort’s attractions portfolio.

Singapore.- Marina Bay Sands has appointed Angelita Teo as its new vice president of attractions. She will lead the strategic direction of attractions. The appointment sees Teo return to Singapore after seven years in Switzerland, where she served as director of the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage.

Before that role, Teo held several senior leadership positions in Singapore’s cultural sector, inluding in the development of museums, heritage institutions and public engagement initiatives. Her experience is expected to support Marina Bay Sands’ strategy of expanding its non-gaming offerings.

On LinkedIn, Marina Bay Sands wrote: “We are pleased to welcome Angelita Teo as our new vice president of Attractions, where she will lead the strategic direction and continued growth of the integrated resort’s portfolio of attractions, including ArtScience Museum, further strengthening Marina Bay Sands’ position as a leading cultural destination.”

Also writing on LinkedIn, Teo wrote: “Thrilled to be joining Marina Bay Sands at such an exciting time. Coming home to Singapore with my family after almost seven years overseas is a joy in itself. To be able to do so while taking on a role that brings together culture, attractions and tourism makes it even more exciting,” she wrote.
