Manila resort gets Sharecare Health Security certification

The Nüwa Manila at City of Dreams resort has achieved a health certification verified by Forbes Travel Guide.

The Philippines.- The Nüwa Manila at City of Dreams resort has achieved an international health security endorsement for its property amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The Sharecare Health Security certification is verified by Forbes Travel Guide. The hotel in Manila’s City of Dreams is one of the first venues in the world to receive it.

The verification is intended to show that guests and travel planners can book with confidence at properties that have appropriate health safety procedures in place.

It comes with a “seal of approval” that includes the Forbes Travel Guide badge to certify a hotel’s compliance with expert-validated best practices designed to minimise the risks of Covid-19.

The certification is said to include more than 360 standards for health and hygiene protocols, cleaning products and procedures, ventilation, physical distancing, guest experience, and health and safety communication with guests and employees.

Geoff Andres, City of Dreams Manila property president, said: “We are honoured to be among the first, not only in the country but in the world, to be recognised by Forbes Travel Guide and Sharecare for our safety and security standards.

“We are proud of this badge for recognising our colleagues’ commitment to provide our guests and colleagues a safe and worry-free environment especially amid these uncertain times.”

Filip Boyen, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, commended the company’s commitment: “The pandemic has made it clear that hotels and resorts must, first and foremost, assure guests of their safety.

“By becoming verified, Nüwa Manila has demonstrated its commitment to creating a culture of accountability and following global best practices to heighten health security, certified by a third party.”
