Macau’s Melco Resorts to launch a nursery for employees

The company announced plans to set a facility to help employees with young children.

Macau.- Melco Resorts & Entertainment, well known as an active supporter of women’s initiatives, has announced plans to establish an in-house nursery to support employees with young children.

“A most important pillar for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is women and families,” said Melco Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho.

“We have been at the forefront from 2007 when we set up free cancer screening for women in Macau. Melco was the first integrated resort operator to set up lactation rooms across all its properties. Encouraging taking care of the primary priority of children while working, the Melco in-house nursery will facilitate the wellbeing of families.”

The nursery will be located at one of the company’s Macau integrated resorts (City of Dreams or Studio City) after obtaining relevant licences and will be operated by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Macau (The Macau Holy House of Mercy).
