Macau’s former finance chief appointed to Airport Company Board

No successor has yet been appointed to the role of Secretary for Economy and Finance.

Macau.- Tai Kin Ip has been appointed as a member of the Macau International Airport Company’s (CAM) Board of Directors and Executive Committee as part of a reshuffle. The appointment follows his unexpected resignation from his previous role as Secretary for Economy and Finance on April 16 for what he described as “personal reasons.”

Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai has temporarily assumed the economy and finance position until Chinese authorities appoint a successor for a role which includes oversight of Macau’s gaming industry through the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).
