Lotto NZ seeks new supplier for Instant Kiwi scratch tickets
Lotto NZ has launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek a new partner as its contract with Scientific Games ends next year.
New Zealand.- The New Zealand Lottery Commission, also known as Lotto NZ, is looking for a new Instant Kiwi scratch ticket supplier. The operator currently has a contract with Scientific Games, but the agreement will end in the middle of 2022. The lottery has launched a request for proposal (RFP) that will last until February 4, 2022.
Lotto NZ sells 40 to 45 instant scratch games under the Instant Kiwi brand each year through a retail network of more than 1,300 stores. Total revenue from Instant Kiwi lottery sales in the 2021 fiscal year stands at NZ$136m. It said it would seek a partner who values the promotion of responsible gambling.
Lotto NZ saw strong sales last year amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
