Australia.- The Lottery Corporation has announced that its chief financial officer, Adam Newman, has notified the board of his intention to step down from his position on July 1, 2027. Newman will continue to serve as CFO until that date to provide organisational continuity while the Board undertakes an executive search process.

Having led TLC’s financial operations since 2022, Newman was involved in navigating the group’s demerger from Tabcorp Holdings and establishing TLC as an independent, ASX-listed lottery and Keno operator. More recently, he spearheaded the company’s inaugural debt issuance in Australia, which secured financing to extend the Victorian Public Lottery Licence.

According to the announcement, Newman plans to pursue a portfolio career, focusing on board and non-executive director roles across various sectors.

Managing Director and CEO Wayne Pickup stated: “Adam has made a significant contribution to TLC since the demerger from Tabcorp, helping to establish the Company as a standalone ASX-listed business and building the financial foundations to support our long-term success through a period of significant change.”

“On behalf of the Board and the executive team, I thank Adam for his leadership and contribution to TLC and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.”
