Laos Siphandone entertainment zone to feature casino
The first phase of the project will include a casino resort slated to be finished by 2025.
Laos.- The Siphandone islands area in Laos will get an entertainment zone which will eventually include casinos and hotels, golf courses, villas and shopping malls, cinemas and an international racecourse, local media has reported.
According to the Vientiane Times, the first phase of the project began in 2018 and a hotel is already under construction. The entertainment zone is expected to be finished by 2025. Ultimately, Siphandone will consist of six distinct zones, each offering a different mix of facilities, buildings and attractions.
Zone D will be a commercial area with shops and businesses on both sides of the street next to the casino and hotels. Zone E will house five-star hotels, shopping centres, cinemas, restaurants, entertainment venues, leisure venues and venues and large buildings for displaying handicrafts. Zone F will include a racecourse for international horse racing.
