Pakistan.- The Lahore High Court has approved the post-arrest bail petition of Saad ur Rehman, the Pakistani YouTuber known online as Ducky Bhai, in a case concerning the alleged promotion of illegal online gambling applications. Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry granted bail against sureties worth PKR1m (US$3,500).

Rehman had been held since mid-August, when officers from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) detained him at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. Authorities allege he promoted unlicensed betting and trading apps via his YouTube channel, encouraging users to invest money.

The case involves charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and the Pakistan Penal Code related to electronic fraud, spamming and promoting commercial prizes. According to the FIR, investigators compiled dozens of video links said to contain promotional material for gambling platforms, several of which are no longer publicly accessible.
