As for the first quarter of 2026, online gambling transactions totalled IDR40.3tn (US$2.2bn), with deposits reaching IDR10.6tn (US$519m). The findings relate to specific suspicious cases and do not apply to the financial services sector as a whole.
QRIS accounted for 88.6 per cent of deposit transactions in the first quarter of 2026, compared with 78.5 per cent throughout 2025, while the share of bank transfers declined.
