HKJC enhances account security with new OTP system

Hong Kong.- The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has introduced a new one-time password SMS authentication system for customer account security. The aim is to simplify the login process for its digital services.

The new method will phase out the existing login process, which uses security questions for authentication. Customers will still be able to access their accounts via the old method during the transition period.

The club will implement the new login process in phases, gradually inviting users to upgrade their accounts. HKJC has advised customers to remain cautious and vigilant during the rollout and said it will only contact users through personal emails, app push notifications, or in-app and website prompts to notify them about the migration.
