Grand Korea Leisure’s November casino sales climb 12.9 per cent

Table-game sales were the main revenue driver.

South Korea.- The foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure Co (GKL) has announced that its casino sales reached KRW41.75bn (US$28.4m) in November. That’s increase of 12.9 per cent from November 2024, and a 46.2 per cent rise month-on-month.

Like at Paradise Co, table game sales were the main revenue driver, generating KRW38.38bn (US$26.4m), up 13.7 per cent year-on-year and 52.6 per cent from October. Machine-game sales totalled KRW3.37bn (US$2.3m), up 3.9 per cent year-on-year but down 1.1 per cent sequentially.

For the first 11 months of the year, GKL’s casino sales reached KRW389.02bn (US264.9m), an increase of 9.6 per cent year-on-year.

A subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization, GKL operates three foreigner-only Seven Luck casinos: two in Seoul, the capital city, and one in Busan, a major port city in the southeast. Seoul Gangnam Casino led GKL’s group-wide casino sales for the January-November period, with KRW192.01bn (US$130.7m), up almost 20 per cent year-on-year.
