Grand Korea Leisure casino sales rise 103% year-on-year
Table game performance boosted July revenue to US$28.2m.
South Korea.- Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) has reported casino sales of KRW38.99bn (US$28.2m) for July. That’s the strongest monthly performance on record and a 102.8 per cent increase year-on-year. The figure was up by 12 per cent compared to June.
Table games generated KRW35.34bn (US$25m), up 113.4 per cent year-on-year and 11.9 per cent over the previous month. Machine games reached KRW3.65bn (US$2.7m), up 36.9 per cent from July 2024 and 13.6 per cent from June.
GKL operates three foreigner-only casinos in South Korea, two in Seoul and one in Busan. For the first seven months of 2025, cumulative casino sales reached KRW248.85bn (US$183m), up 17.5 per cent from the same period last year. While gaming revenue grew, the company noted a 3.7 per cent decline in the drop.
