Delta Corp income dips in Q4
Income was down 2.14 per cent year-on-year.
India.- Delta Corp has shared its financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25. It posted income of Rs 196.72 crores (US$23.1m), down 2.1 per cent year-on-year and up 1.1 per cent sequentially. Profit was up 127.26 per cent year-on-year and 360 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs164.56m (US$1.93m).
Gross income from operations was Rs 183.11 crores, down 2.20 per cent year-on-year and 1.29 per cent sequentially. Revenue from gaming operations was down 3.43 per cent year-on-year to Rs1.66bn (US$19.52m). Income from hospitality operations grew by 22.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 16.72 crores (US$1.96m).
For the year ended March 31, 2025, Delta Corp has reported income of a Rs 786.71 crores (US$92.3m), down 12.8 per cent year-on-year. Profit was Rs 248.99 crores (US$29.2m).
In February, Delta Corp announced the sale of Deltatech Gaming Limited (DGL) to Head Digital Works (HDW) for Rs4.91bn (US$57m). The deal will take place in two phases, starting with a 51 per cent stake before a subsequent merger. Upon completion, Delta Corp will maintain a 5.7 per cent equity stake in HDW.
Delta Corp described HDW as the pioneers of online rummy and real-money gaming in India with a gaming portfolio that comprises online rummy, poker and cricket content. It said A23 Rummy is one of the largest real-money Rummy platforms in India with over 75 million users.
