Galaxy Macau Phase 4 to move ahead
Galaxy Entertainment has said works will be complete in three years but has not specified an exact date.
Macau.- Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has signed a preliminary contract with a local unit of China State Construction International Holdings for the development of Galaxy Macau’s Phase 4.
Although a date for the launch of Phase 4 hasn’t been specified, construction is scheduled to take around three years will cost approximately MOP13.01bn (US$1.63bn).
GEG and its subsidiary Galaxy Cotai Project said the construction of Phase 4 would “maintain development targets and improve its competitive positioning in Macau’s gaming and hospitality market.”
Phase 3 of the casino resort on Cotai was scheduled to open in the first half of 2021 but has been delayed to the second half because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
