Galaxy Entertainment Group completes World Cup responsible gaming campaign in Macau

The initiative engaged employees, youth and the local community.

Macau.- Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has completed its GEG Responsible Gaming Promotional Program: Football World Cup Series in Macau. Coinciding with the FIFA World Cup, the initiative brought together local social service organisations and community groups to promote rational and responsible entertainment among GEG team members, young people and the wider public through a range of online and offline activities.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of gaming disorder risks and encourage healthy participation in sports and entertainment. With the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Service Coordination Office, GEG hosted World Cup Goal Challenge: Clear Eyes, Responsible Plays at the back-of-house areas of Galaxy Macau and StarWorld Hotel. The programme featured interactive games, educational displays and on-site counselling services designed to help employees identify potential signs of gaming-related issues.

GEG also participated in the RG Man Competition – World Cup Special Edition, organised by the Macao Leisure Industry Employees Home and the World Cup Forum Theatre Tour ‘Gambling on the Line’, sponsored by the Macau SAR Government’s Social Welfare Bureau and organised by Bosco Youth Service Network – FREEland with the Macao University of Tourism.

Among the youth-focused initiatives, GEG supported the Macao New Chinese Youth Association’s Smart Sight MAX World Cup-themed online prize game.
