Four Seasons opens luxury tower in Macau
The hotel group has announced the launch of the Grand Suites at Four Seasons, a tower that adds 289 rooms to its Cotai venue.
Macau.- Four Seasons Hotel Macao has announced the opening of a luxury tower adding 289 accommodation units to the property.
Operated by Sands China, the new tower has been named Grand Suites at Four Seasons and is located next door to the Venetian Macao casino resort on Cotai.
The opening, originally scheduled for the second quarter of the year, was delayed due to Covid-19 measures in the city.
Sands China’s president Wilfred Wong Ying Wai, said: “This exciting addition to Sands China Ltd’s portfolio indicates our commitment to Macau tourism, even at this challenging time.”
He added that the units would help distinguish Sands China and give it “opportunities in the growing leisure and MICE [meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions] sectors”.
Mr. Wong concluded: “We remain confident in Macao and continue to invest in its future.”
The US$450 million tower’s units range in size from 160 square metres (1,700 sq. feet) to more than 455 square metres, the company said.
