Donaco General Counsel and Company Secretary departs
Ben Reichel to leave the casino operator “by mutual agreement”.
Australia.- Donaco International Ltd, the Australia-based casino operator, has announced further changes to its board.
The latest shake-up relates to General Counsel and Company Secretary, Ben Reichel, who will leave the firm “by mutual agreement” on February 12.
“Mr Reichel will continue to be available to assist the board and the company after that date [February 12] via a mutually agreed consultancy agreement,” Donaco said in a filing today.
“We have appreciated Ben Reichel’s professionalism in assisting with the transition to the new board. We are sad to see him go, but we respect his decision, and we are pleased that his expertise and knowledge of the company’s businesses will continue to be available in his role as a consultant to the company,” Donaco Chairman, Mel Ashton, added.
Marika White, an Executive Director of Emerson Corporate Services, replaces Reichel as Company Secretary.
Last December, after six months at the helm, Paul Arbuckle quit as Donaco International Limited CEO after three board members failed to retain their seats at the company’s AGM.
He was replaced by two independent and non-executive directors; Mel Ashton as Chairman and Simon Vertullo as Director.
