Delta Corp receives green light for Goa integrated resort
The resort will include an electronic casino as well as hotels, a water park, a convention centre and a cinema multiplex.
India.- Delta Corp has confirmed that it has received approval for a new integrated resort in Goa state.
The company says it has received permission from the Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board to build an integrated resort at Pernem.
The project will include hotels, a convention centre, a multiplex cinema, a water park, retail facilities as well as an electronic casino.
The firm said: “The integrated resort is expected to be one of its kind in the country. The project is expected to boost tourism, employment and infrastructure of the state of Goa.”
Delta Corp owns three offshore floating casino licenses in Goa and has a casino at a hotel in Sikkim state.
It recently bought 45 per cent of a shipyard in Udupi for US$2.1m in order to provide maintenance and building services for its fleet.
