City of Dreams Sri Lanka records positive EBITDA of US$1.15m in Q2
Improved hotel performance and continued growth in casino operations supported earnings.
Sri Lanka.- City of Dreams Sri Lanka generated EBITDA of LKR388.72m (US$1.15m) during the second quarter of 2026. The results, reported by John Keells Holdings (JKH), Melco Resorts & Entertainment‘s local partner in the integrated resort, represent a dip from the final quarter of 2025, the first full quarter of operations.
According to the company, performance was supported by higher occupancy levels and improved average daily room rates across the property’s hospitality operations, while casino performed was described as “steadily improving” following the resort’s opening in 2025.
Located in Colombo, the property combines the 687-room Cinnamon Life hotel, the 113-room Nuwa luxury hotel, a casino, retail, dining and entertainment facilities under a 20-year casino operating licence.
