US.- City of Dreams Manila has begun preparing for a soft reopening of its venue by setting up free Covid-19 testing for all staff members.
In an announcement yesterday, the Melco-owned casino said that while it was still waiting for approval from the Philippines government to reopen, it was ready to test staff as soon as it was given the green light.
City of Dreams Manila COO, Kevin Benning, said: “The well-being of our colleagues is our paramount concern, more so in these fragile times as we
welcome them back to work. Doing the tests will help ensure not only their safety and good health, but also that of our guests.
“We have been consulting closely with PAGCOR, the Department of Health and the Parañaque Health Office to fully comply with health standards and government guidelines, even going beyond the basic requirements whenever possible, to ensure a safe environment for the health and wellbeing of City of Dreams Manila’s guests and colleagues.”
Last week, the casino announced that paid leave would be given to non-management employees to help them mitigate the financial impact of the pandemic.
