Century Entertainment delays full-year 2026 results meeting again

The gaming company said additional time is needed to complete its financial statements and related disclosures.

Hong Kong.- The gaming investment group Century Entertainment International Holdings has again postponed the board meeting scheduled to approve its annual results for the year ended March 31, 2026. It’s the fifth delay since June.

The company made the announcement in a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Monday, August 31. It said the meeting will now take place on or before September 18.

The 2026 annual results were originally to be published by June 30 under the Exchange’s listing rules. Century Entertainment said it needs more time to complete its financial statements and related disclosures to ensure they are properly prepared and comply with applicable requirements. The company has also indicated that it could miss the deadline for distributing its annual report to shareholders.

The delay puts Century Entertainment in breach of Rule 13.49(1) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, which requires listed companies to publish preliminary annual results within three months of their financial year-end. The company previously declined to release unaudited management accounts, saying they might not provide an accurate picture of its financial position and could cause confusion among investors.

Century Entertainment’s shares have been suspended from trading since June 26, 2025. The company said its business operations continue as normal and that further announcements will be issued when there are material developments.
