Casino workers must wear health masks until March
The Macau Health Bureau extends period during which all casino workers must wear masks.
Macau.- The Macau Health Bureau has made it compulsory for all casino workers to wear face masks during working hours until March 22.
The measure has been put in place after Macau casinos re-opened their doors last week following a forced 15-day closure due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
The measure was initially put in place on January 22 and was scheduled to last until February 22 but with the deadly virus still prevalent in Asia and around the world, the requirement has been extended .
The Gaming Inspection and Co-ordination Bureau has issued additional prevention measures to be enforced by local gaming operators, such as regular cleanings and maintaining a minimum distance between customers.
