Bloomberry wins 5 awards at FinanceAsia’s Best Companies Poll 2025
Bloomberry won the Best Investor Relations (Philippines) award for the second year in a row.
The Philippines.- Bloomberry Resorts has won five awards in the 2025 FinanceAsia Best Companies Poll. In the under-markets category, the casino operator won gold for Best Investor Relations (Philippines) for the second year in a row.
The company won silver for Best Small-cap Company while Estella Tuason-Occeña was won bronze as Best CFO, having previously won silver in 2023. In industry-specific categories, Bloomberry was named the Philippines’ Best Consumer Services company for the second year in a row. South Korea’s Lotte Group also won a gold award in the consumer retail category.
The Asia’s Best Companies Poll is conducted annually by FinanceAsia, a Hong Kong-based capital markets publication. The poll relies on nominations from investors and financial analysts across Asia.
Bloomberry GGR increases year-over-year in 2024
For full-year 2024, Bloomberry reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) of PHP61.7bn (US$1.08bn). That’s an increase of 6 per cent in year-on-year terms. The growth was mainly due to the opening of Solaire Resort North (SN) for 221 days of the year.
The casino operator reported net income of PHP2.6bn (US$45.9m), down 72.63 per cent year-on-year. Consolidated net revenue was PHP53.1bn (US$930.6m), up 10 per cent, while non-gaming revenue was PHP10.7bn (US$187.3m), up 23 per cent year-on-year.
