Australia: Sydney to extend restrictions until at least July 30
Authorities in New South Wales have announced that the current lockdown will be extended until at least July 30.
Australia.- The New South Wales Government has announced that it will extend Covid-19 restrictions until at least July 30 after 99 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
With this new extension, Sydney will reach six consecutive weeks under lockdown.
Crown Sydney will remain closed until further notice. This closure includes the restaurants, bars, gym, Crown Spa as well as events and conferencing facilities.
The Star casino plus all club and pub venues where people can play slots will also remain closed until further notice.
Although the state of Victoria has also reported new cases, authorities have not announced a lockdown there.
